Better still, my new spiral direct shirt arrived. I gotta show this beautiful art off!
Going through some old photos and I found these from when I first got the suit. I forgot I had that tie! It’s a beautiful colour.
I changed my Twitter profile photo. I absolutely adore this photo, even if it is a selfie.
Perhaps not in this suit though… I need to shed the pounds before it looks this good on me again.
After a rather shocking 3.4kg of weight gain over Christmas, I’m back on the wagon to becoming a healthy weight again.
I’m now just 1.6kg up on my late November weight and as you can see from my picture my rather slimmer profile is back.
Amusingly every time I post a picture in this suit I get loads of questions about it, so I thought I’d answer them here.
- What is it made of? PVC
- Where is it from? ASOS
- Can I still buy one? It is sold out
- What about the shirt? Also ASOS
- Is it hot/sweaty to wear? Absolutely – although it depends what I’m doing in it – onstage it’s melt territory.
- Is it noisy? Yes. It squeaks and creaks when the pvc rubs against itself.
- Can I try it on? Absolutely not. I’m very possessive about it as it took me many years wanting one before I finally got one. It’s the driving force behind me keeping my weight in trim!

Friday’s Allan Chapman talk was postponed due to the horrible weather (lots of snow) and so we had a nice night in the house.
Saturday, on the other hand, was set to be a very busy day. First, Mum’s boiler is playing up, so I had to go and get that going again.
The afternoon was an early set-off. The gig was at Ackworth so not too far away (and because it was a self booking rather than an agent booking it was great to be able to negotiate our own terms).
Arriving at the venue at 3, we had ’til 5 to soundcheck as it was a surprise party.
Amusingly, we could probably have arrived a whole hour later! The event didn’t really kick off until after half past six.
First set at 8 was a suited one. Blue suit. New shoes.
It was also a change of dry for us. Stay Together is now gone; replaced by Shallow (Lady Ga Ga). It was a good, well played set. Very enjoyable.
The second set was at half past nine. Blue shirt. PVC leather look trousers for this one.
After much contemplation, I decided to take the plunge last night and head off to Asylum alone. Hannah wasn’t feeling too great but she demanded I go and meet up with my fetish friends before Christmas.
The order of the day was my PVC suit, combined with the sprout shirt. I’d been daring the look for a while, but this was it’s first public outing.
Sadly, the problem with wearing such a daring outfit to a fetish night is that nobody notices or comments on it!
But still… I looked awesome!
“You’re something else” was a comment made on an Instagram post when I shared a photo of my newest suit.
Why? You ask…
Well this is what I went to Corporation in last night.
It’s PVC and it came from ASOS. Yes. ASOS. Mainstream clothing shops are now selling PVC!
