It’s about as good as my work gets. Waiting for an intermittent fault to reoccur. I made a coffee. Then it rained.

The end of the world again?
Yesterday was a very wet day. Storm Ali and Storm Bronagh sweeping in off the Atlantic. First was Ali, on Wednesday; second Bronagh last night overnight (and indeed now whilst I type this). A breezy night!
It feels rather nice listening to the wind blowing the trees.
A breezy night.
It’s always very sweet to listen to the warm summer breeze blowing through the trees though. Someone should write a song about it. Oh… they did. It’s somewhere in the Jasmine in my mind I think.
Rain. Real rain.
Today is what is known as a “rainy day”. After 50 odd days with hardly any rainfall, coupled with temperatures in the high 20’s most days it feels amazing to get a change in the weather. Especially now as Lancashire is under a hosepipe ban, this is such a relief.
Amazing isn’t it
Just a week ago we had snow on the ground. Now I’m in shorts!
