After a couple of weeks without the Jag (a difficult to obtain sensor failure) we decided to go down the route of a replacement. Bearing in mind the state of the roads around here, I think this may be the most sensible option for a while (my RAV4 was probably the last sensible option).
Driving over the Snake and the car suddenly lost power and started running on three cylinders. *Edit – might be a fault with a crank position sensor.
After a few years with a tiny scuff on the door, and then a few weeks with a rather large dent we’ve finally managed to fit the new door on the Jag. Not bad for £50 although it did have to be collected from Essex!
Just a week ago we had snow on the ground. Now I’m in shorts!
It’s given us about an inch of snow. Nothing too major. I’m glad we’ve got the Jag though with it’s all wheel drive. Should make it easier if we do need to go anywhere.
